No cheating!

Let's see how far everyone can get.

Don't post cheats or links (links especially unless they are not clickable links) unless they are hidden and you have to highlight it to find them.
Use the code [ COLOR=#006699]link here[/ COLOR] to hide links/information. (Make sure you remove the spaces between "[" and "C" or"/C".)

And as it says, use IE not firefox or something else.

Have you done the maths puzzles after these as well Mirnee? I'm stuck on the one with the rope under water.... I might be able to do it if I could be bothered since I did it in A-Level maths...

Is that the 3-D one? Ow! It hurt my eyes so much!

The rope underwater sounded tricky, but as soon as you take out your pen and draw a circle with radius 6370m, a 70m chord and a perpendicular bisector to the chord ... it becomes plain to see. ^_^ Grab your calculator also.

My roomate and I completed all three. The hidden htm, the code and the math quizzes. It took about an hour and a half and I do not want to see another test for a very long time now. The worst one was the htm tests, I'm horrible at magic eye pictures. But thanks for the time burner Decs, they were pretty amusing. Good luck with that rope question, it took my roomates trig knowlege to map that one out.

how do you do stage 3?

i have never understood those things. do you stare at it? or beyond it? or what? i've heard all sorts of ways that you have to look at it to see the image, but i have never been able to do it before.

You've got to tweak your eyes a certain way. Start by staring fairly close to the screen, transfix your vision (like when you do when you go cross-eyed) and then slowly move away from the screen. You should see the image elevated from the background. I used to be able to do them, but it's been so long that I can't focus it anymore.

The third one had me stuck for a while. Another way that might work is to focus as far away as you can. Pretend you're looking through the screen.

Good luck with that rope question, it took my roomates trig knowlege to map that one out. You don't need trig knowledge :P. Only pythagoras' theorem.

*Spolier for Stage 3 to Stage 4*
o.htm
*End spoiler*

I gave the spoiler for this one since I can't do them either and had to get a friend to do it for me.

And for the maths one, I might be able to do it, but I really can't be bothered.... maybe today at work I'll have some time.....-_-

Is that the one with the white screen? Hint: Copy and paste it into a picture editor and play around for a while.

Who thought up these questions? The rope in the lake is in one deep lake:D. And in the general knowledge one, they got the answer for the number of days in a year question wrong. (Wasn't too bad, since it's such a common misconception anyway. :P)

if you even thought about what to do with 4 (or read the other posts) it would take half a second.

even knowing the answer to stage 3 doesn't help me see it. maybe my mind just can't see that stuff.

i'm currently trying to do number 5. hm......
