Last but not least... Xmas on Blue Burst!
(Lee_yoshi - November 30 2004 - 6:28 AM)
PC

There will be server maintenance on the PC Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst servers during November 30th 2004.

During this time please do not attempt to connect to the servers as if maintenance is happening on your corresponding servers at that time then you will be automatically disconnected after connecting. If you happen to be playing during these times please disconnect otherwise at the time when maintenance starts you will be disconnected from your game no matter what! You are given 10 minutes warning via. constant on-screen messages counting down until the time the upgrades start. This affects all players of the following PC games:

  • Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst

Please reconnect after these times where service continues as normal. Being added last but not least is the christmas quest 'Pioneer Christmas' and lobby Christmas decorations for all Blue Bursters to enjoy! :D

Happy Christmas!

All the information regarding the quest can be found in the news post below as the quest stays the same throughout Nintendo Gamecube, PC, and Xbox PSO games! Happy Holidays!

N.B. If your one for Christmas and Phantasy Star Online, then just a heads up, you may want to be around Ragol.co.uk tommorrow for a special festive treat ^_-

Christmas on Phantasy Star Online... Not all Turkeys and Stuffing!
(Lee_yoshi - November 26 2004 - 6:50 AM)
Gamecube

There will be server maintenance on the Nintendo Gamecube Phantasy Star Online servers during November 30th 2004 between the times of 14:00 & 17:00 (Japanese Time).

This affects all players of the following Nintendo Gamecube games:

  • Phantasy Star Online, Episodes I & II
  • Phantasy Star Online, Episodes I & II Plus
  • Phantasy Star Online, Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution

Please reconnect after these times where service continues as normal. Being added is of course alike the Xbox version mentioned below, Christmas Festivities!

On November 30th, Hunters will find a new quest for the season entitled 'Pioneer Christmas' which continues in the theme of the 'Pioneer Hallowe'en' quest. Also being added are Christmas Decorations to the Lobby. Only Episode I & II decorations have been mentioned by Sonic Team, so it can only be assumed that there will be similiar decorations in the Episode III lobbies.

Christmas Time... Mistletoe and Wine

The Quest see's you once again go down to Episode II's Gal De Val island in search of Cakes from the Naruna Sisters who have this time taken refuge to find the best ingredients in the Alpine area (Mountains).

Your Mission... If you choose to accept it...

Your mission isn't as easy as you'd like though because you're also accompanied by a teacher and her 2 favourite pupils Mary & Christopher (After nagging her to death)!

Dam Kids!

After being transported down to Gal De Val, the 2 pupils come across special clothes which conviniently give them special powers! On your journey you will no doubt come across certain seasonal monsters...

Santa... Or is that another dam Rappy in disguise...

Meeting 'St. Rappy' on Gal De Val island means you're one step closer to cakes! But before that... time for something completely different... a mini-game! Clear the Memory Mini-game, and St. Rappy will send you to meet up with the 3 Naruna Sisters for cakes... and presents!

Time to test you're memory... MUAHAHAHA

After meeting up with the ever joyous 3 Naruna Sisters, it also turns out to be your job to deliver special packing paper so the cakes remain as sweet and tasty as christmas is fun and cold! Once done, return to Pioneer 2 for your congratulations and special Christmas themed surprise!

"Thanks... now where's my cake?" -_-

So there you go, a complete rundown of what to expect this christmas on Phantasy Star Online! It certainly seems fun, but the quest will only be available from this period of Server Maintenance (November 30th) until December 28th. To find this quest you will need to approach the Information Counter and make a game for Episode II, then select 'Events' at the Hunters Guild. This quest is playable for 1 Human player only :( Also at this time, the 'Pioneer Hallowe'en' quest will be taken down... so enjoy it while you still can!
