Favourite Anime...

What's yours? Everyone has to have one, whether it be Ninja Scroll or thunder cats.

Mine is definetely Grave Of The Fireflies. Okay, so it's a love/hate relationship. Hate, because it made me cry and afterwards I felt really insignificant. Love, becuase of everything else. Shows you what anime can really do.

I've got so many anime films, its hard to choose but have you guys seen spirited away? I think it might even be dubbed and released over here under disney :o but still the sheer amount of imagination and original ideas that are in this film is incredible!

My fav anime of all time: Macross Plus (whatever i say wouldnt be enough to justify how good this is!)
2nd Fav: Spirited Away :p

I don't really watch anime as such. But I do love my cartoons. I guess some could be classed as anime...

1) Sonic. Anything less
2) Digimon (maybe not the third series. One with only 3 kids)
3) Tenki Universe. I've only just started watching this but I think it's quite funny.

Anime movies I have seen comprise of Gunbuster... that's about all I can remember

I also like Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Princess Mononoke, Cowboy Bebop, CB Movie, and loads of others.

I used to like DBZ a lot, hell, I loved it. But then I saw better anime, and it really lost it's appeal with me. Just endless fights, and the movies always have the same plot. Enemies appear, Z fighters get overwhelmed, Goku or Gohan find a way to get stronger when it looks like all hope is lost, they save the day. *Yawn*

Akira sucked in my opinion.

Japanese really do some strange things... food, lifestyle, anime... sometimes they take it to the extreme (eg hentai but I don't know if us Westerners sort of made them do it... supply and demand so to speak)
