A guy named Melchizedek took a shot of a rappy from PSU.

Heh.Looks pretty weak, don't you think?Hopefully they'll be tougher than the Rappies i see now.

yeah, it may look weak, but it probably has some scary special attack where it jumps on you or something scary! and just the fact that that thing is invincible and doesn't die when it falls over makes me scared!

LOOKS WEAK!!!?? :S Are you serioous?? Seed pollen must have some steroids in it or something because the PSU rappy could mop up the floor with the PSO rappy!LOL!:P

why use the entire rappy when you can make a nice little feather duster out of that poor guy?

NthoozD

LOL!! Duh!! Because it would be more painful, and malevolent to use its whole body!! Geez anyone who tortures little penguin-like-chicken knows that!!

lets hope this game still features holiday rappies!

How about having an internal timer,so that offline players can see them?

That is a great idea, assuming of course thar you can steal all the stuff you got with Ethan. Or that it only applies to Extra mode.

Kitsadoodles
29-04-2006, 08:26 PM
yeah, that would be great for this game. the only problem would be that people would probably change the clock setting to holiday time to get endless amounts of rappies! unless, of course, clock adjudstment would be impossible in this game!

nomercy

Well, its on PC,and (mine,at least)has an internal timer that can't be changed. It was set when we got it,and it is totally right.Maybe it'll be like that?

Kitsadoodles

good idea!
ST Guy #1: "hey, this guy nomercy- I mean, I thought of this great idea to put an internal and unchangeable timer into the game so we can insert holiday rappies offline!"
ST Guy #2: "wow.....good work, we should mention that to the president!"
nomercy: ".......go away" *throws smoke bomb*
ST Guy #2: "holy.....oh my god, what just happened? Bob?! Bob, are you there?! BOB?!"
all I'm saying is, its a great idea to put into the game!

They could use that crappy @beat counter...

Lee-yoshi
30-04-2006, 03:23 PM
No doubt we'll not have seen the last of the use of Beat Time!

Beat Time was developed by Swatch timing and divides 24 hours into 1000 beats so that it's the same no matter where you are in the world - Which was why it was put into PSO in the first place - To make arrangements/meetings with others across the world without worrying about time zone differences ;)

Kitsadoodles
30-04-2006, 09:27 PM
true, but that counter is so hard to read and understand!
"I'll meet you at 756 beat time!"
".....what the...."
"yeah....you know, lets just use the clock!"

nomercy
30-04-2006, 09:29 PM
I don't even bother to read it any more.

Kitsadoodles
30-04-2006, 09:31 PM
me neither...not like I ever could, though!

nomercy

I never even bothered, even when i used to be online. We'd just play,an if more than one of our team showed up,we'd go for it.

LOL! Beat is crazy. If you just know what time zone everyone you play with is in, then Beat is unnecessary.

Geez that sentence was hard to put into words.

Kitsadoodles

I never even used beat, because the only way I've ever seen someone online was either by the fact that they live in the same time zone as me and I CAN actually arrange a time, or just the fact that we happened to be online at the same time and decide to play together. I was never really good with that whole "I'll see you then!" thing.

NthoozD

I never really scheduled a game either. I was just saying for those people who do, just get each others time zones and ask them what time it is "now" or whenever you play. Just do this, and Kitsadoodles I know what you mean its sorta like "lets see who's on", and then "Oh! I guess I'll play with them" And then you send them a mail. Thats how it used to work for me.

Kitsadoodles

yeah, good idea with the time zones and the asking and the.......each. it just never worked for me! it must be pretty hard, though, if a beat is less than a minute (or is it?) to get to your meeting on time!

LOL! Based on what Someone from the BETA said Rappies can fly now, and instead of them getting up after you kill them, they burrow under ground.

oh my god.....that kinda scares me! I'd like to see them try and dig into the cold, hard metal flooring in some areas....must give you lots of extra time to shoot them and get the item drops! and flying, huh? maybe that's where rappies come from...?
