seems too good to be true to not have a monthly fee. Looks good but I think something will probably be wrong with it in some way.

it is truth, does not have monthly subscription. Read the Faq.

How much will Guild Wars cost?

Guild Wars will be priced at a comparable cost to other first tier PC games.

Will there be a monthly fee for Guild Wars?

No, there will not be a monthly subscription fee of any kind, anywhere in the world.

the catch is whenever there is a major patch that adds something new like a area you have to pay to get it

that distrusted you are, play the game online is free, but you only have buy the expansions when they put them on sale, is more cheap to buy the expansions (new races, new classes, new territories) that to pay monthly in world of warcraft and Final Fantasy XI.

The games is only online, it was updated in server. The addons they put them on sale like expansions. You only have buy a future expansion. If you buy this game, you can move for the entire world, and use all spells.

I have played the beta and in spite of not being finished absolutely you can accede where you want .

The game this developed by old members of blizzard and what they want is to make competition to wow .

This game has sold already of 500,000 of copies in the USA in pre-sale.

The release of game is 28 April 2005
