im kinda new to the RA class in general.

what are good mag stats for a RAmar?

I was thinking 20/125/20/35

any other suggestions?

go for DEX>POW>MIND then when it turns to a kaitabha up its POW so it turns into a madhu w/ estila, pilla, mylla & youlla (best set of photon blasts, stats will get real good feeding that madhu up moon atomizers to level 200
(make sure it gets higher dex than power at kalki and only sure it works on some section id's and you dont really ned to up defense or magic)

so ultimately I would want to have pow > dex though right? Were the original mag stats (final stats) I had posted be good you think?

Personally, I'd probably have:

DEX > POW > DEF > MIND

Pow > Mind > Dex > Def

keep def at 5, it's better to use def materials. Keep dex as low as possible, fill it up with a God/Arm. One God/Arm is in fact equal to 30 mag lvls. So if it take 37 ata to max your ata on lvl 200, then you equip 2 god/arms and give your mag 14 dex. And for mind... I don't know if you want to max it; but in that case Mind goes above Dex.

My choice:

5/140/20/35

or 5/125/20/50

its better to get high dex mag with somethin around 50-60 dex i dont like to fill my slots on high lvls with stat units... it would be better if you can use cure items or god/hps in it ;)

Mind isnt that important for a Ramar...
Mag:
5/145/50/0
for lvl 200 your mag would be good with
5/157/38/0
You can get lower power if you used alot of Power mats... so you can raise mst instead of power on your mag... but this depends on how many mats you used...

The higher your lvl get you can go down with Dex... but at beginning a high power/dex mag would be the best choice...

RAmar has enough HP of himself, you're not telling me you're filling 4 slots all with support units? One switching support unit is good enough (by support units I mean all units than legs/arm/power/mind/luck/body). if you have 1 God/Arm than you have gained 30 lvls on your mag!.

Whats better? Your are Status Immune ice, paralize, shock and so on...with same dex stats you only get from your mag or with 2 god arms and no status protection?
And nobody can get enough HP !!!!! The more the best!!!!!

At lower levels i would have 5/145/50/0

But when you get to higher levels go for 5/157/38/0

EDIT: cHillar, i didnt know you put the same stats as mine, great minds think alike,

however i was gonna have a RAmar once and its stats were 5/137/38/20 (for resta) but i didnt have it as a rare mag and i didnt like the RAmar, i will recreate it eventually (the RAmar)

....Red XIII um.... Dex is ATA, and all the dex in the world wont help you kill things faster, however with the right amount of Dex and Power in your mag you should be fine

...heh, I just posted in the Hunter's mag thread. Got kind of offtopic.

Er, I'll say that my RAmar's Pushan will eventually have 55/65/35/45. He already never misses so I left the DEX down at 35. Decent mind energy too. It's about 8 or 9 levels from reaching 200 and I plan to have all the rest of them be POW (as I'm really tired of leveling up the DEF with those stupid Sol Atomizers while trying not to level the MIND up more... grr...).
