G-1 Grand Prix

 

The G-1 Grand Prix is soon to kick off, and the ship for the tournament has already been put into place! In-between June 2nd & June 4th, you and a friend can pair up together to enter this Doubles Tournament for a chance to be crowned The World’s Best Team! Today Sonic Team uploaded all the details of how the tournament works, so if your interested, by all means, read on!

Round 1 (Preliminary Round)

 

G-1 Grand Prix - The Official Place for the Tournament

 

June 2nd – June 4th: 22:00 – 1:00

 

Ship: G-1 GP/PRE01-04

 

To be in with a chance of being the best, you firstly have to get through the qualifying rounds! To do this, you have to go to the specially uploaded ship ‘G-1 GP/PRE’ (Lobbies 01 – 04), and then enter yourself! When allowed, the preliminary round takes place as below:

 

 

  • G-1 GP/FINAL01
  • G-1 GP/FINAL02
  • G-1 GP/FINAL03
  • G-1 GP/FINAL04

Turn up with yourself at either of the following times on either June 2nd, June 3rd, or June 4th where the tournament works as follows in half an hour intervals:

G-1 Grand Prix - Your Rank!

 

 

June 5th: 13:00 – 15:00 or 21:00 – 23:00 (Japanese Time)

 

At 10:00 (Japanese Time) the lists for Rank will be compiled, and using this list all top 32 entrants will be able to enter the exclusive Ship: G-1 GP/ENTRY at the above given time. To do this you use your Guild Card No. and your friends Guild Card No.

 

 

 

If there are any drop-outs, then players can always step in by being at the ship: G-1 GP/ENTRY between the times of 23:00 & 0:00 (Japanese Time).

 

Rules are the same as highlighted above.

 

Round 3 (Finals)

 

The Finals take place in the exclusive access ship ‘G-1 GP/FINAL’

 

Registration:

 

June 6th 2004: 17:30 – 17:50 (Japanese Time)

 

Tournament:

 

June 6th 2004: 18:00 Onwards (Japanese Time)
