2004 looks to be a promising year for Nintendo, with the likes of many hugely popular games franchises such as Mario, Donkey Kong, Final Fantasy, and Metal Gear Solid returning in brand new games being released for the Gamecube made exclusively for Nintendo. In a article just today i was reading that Miyamoto-san himself has confirmed that games we thought were way off will infact be released before 2004 has ended in Europe, including games such as Metroid Prime 2, Geist, and the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker with a hint of Majora's Mask apparently!!!

To that end, at the beginning of this year i produced a huge forum thread on this very website revealing all known games that were to be released in 2004 for the Nintendo Gamecube along with release dates for all games as were known.

Below is a list of all major games European Release Dates (Subject to change):

However, Nintendo are still yet to surprise us with more game releases in 2004 with titles such as Donkey Konga (rhythm game from Namco with a bongo drums accessory!), Mario Tennis, and new revamped Pokemon titles to be announced along with release dates, later this year.

Third Party publishers though such as Capcom Europe announced they would have to postpone 2 of the most anticipated games coming from them, i.e. Resident Evil 4, and Killer 7, unlikely to make it to Europe before 2004 came to and end, and hence were looking much more forwards to a Spring 2005 EU Release. Also of course the one game we're all waiting for (Phantasy Star Online, Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution) was mentioned by SEGA earlier this year too be another game to have its European release date slipping to the summer).

As mentioned earlier, to see the entire list of European, aswell as American release dates for other games coming to the Nintendo Gamecube later this year, Click Here to go to the thread in the forums. Also by doing this you can read up about the latest developments for E3, aswell as previous news announced regarding future Nintendo titles. The list is always being updated, and feel free to make comments in this thread.
