There's something for everyone in this edition of the Hunters Gazette... as long as you like to be teased about them that is!

What's new?

SEGA of Japan have recently revealed yet more aspects of Phantasy Star Universe. We bring you these updates this time around in our Hunters Gazette! There's a fair bit of motoring madness as new vehicles are announced and shown, and the S.E.E.D. are also finally revealed!

Va Va Voom!

Travelling around Phantasy Star Universe is now totally fat friendly! Give your legs a rest and let others do the walking for you as you roam the lands and plains of Universe either on the back of the animals, or just go driving around in the other many vehicles in the game!

What will you choose?

To the left is a vehicle which hovers over pratically any terrain. It is riden on from the top, as if you were riding a motorbike of sorts, but obviously, the photon power doesn't give it the acceleration you get with petrol!

In the middle translates from Japanese as Sotoraikaa, and is otherwise a tank really from viewpoint. It's got tank colours, it fires alike tanks, and you get inside it alike a tank... is it actually just a tank? No, because tanks my friend, don't hover either! Wheels aren't around in these days, and even though it doesn't hover much, it still hovers! So forth they'd probabily move slowly, but come with the added firepower you'd like to be in control of at troublesome times!

To the right is an animal we revealed a few weeks ago that Ethan is able to ride! Translated into English from Japanese is the name 'Rosoga'. These animals can be very nifty at times and get you out of sticky situations, again with added firepower of their own! Pictured is one such ability, taking the word firepower literally. What have they been eating at?

Take the High Road!

You'll also be able to travel between planets in the system that stars in Phantasy Star Universe (No pun intended!). Of course to do that, you'll need more then some lanky fire-breathing kangaroo.

Shown in the above banner image, to the left is PPT, and to the right hand-side are 2 different crafts from the G-Furaiyaa series. As you can really tell from the image shown within, the crafts will be capable of high speeds as they travel between planets. Lets hope that we're able to control them a fair bit though between!

Bad Seeds

Also recently revealed was the main enemy of the game. The creatures that started it all. The S.E.E.D.

RAWR!

Really cute, and lovable looking creatures eh? Makes you just want to walk right upto them and give them big hugs! As the images inset show though, the creature themslves are actually bigger then shown (Depedant on the size of your T.V too mind!). Only after killing these S.E.E.D. will real openings be made to start finding answers as to why exactly the S.E.E.D. did what they did and why they're just so mean! It's your duty to slay them all, think you can manage the task?

To be continued...

Unfortunately that's all there is that's really new about the game, so we'll move onto something that's much more exciting...

As our Xmas competitions continue, we haven't really had anything to tell you about our Nintendo Gamecube Phantasy Star Online competitions. Unfortunately we still don't, but we do want to say that the dates will be revealed, tommorrow! Yes, that's right, tommorrow!
