The quest will be uploaded on 26th April 2005 and available until 24th May 2005, where between those dates you'll have the chance to win some major goodies by completing the Maximum Attack challenge. Whats the challenge? Well it's your job to rack up a total score of 1 Million Points over the duration of the Cup. To do this, you'll be playing through the quest more then once... thats for sure! Once you have completed the challenge and earnt over 1,000,000 Points, going to the Hunters Guild will register your win with Sonic Team, and you'll recieve prizes in return ^_^ Blue Burst Login Cup Details - Points make Prizes! |

Sonic Team are keeping tight lipped about the prizes on offer, but when you do complete the task, a special panel will open at the top of the main menu, giving you access to whatever you've won! [UPDATE] Prizes comfirmed! Sonic Team have today (18th April 2005) announced the prizes up for grabs through the Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst Maximum Attack (Version 2) Login Cup! If you played the Japanese version of PSO: Blue Burst, lets look at what you could have won...   
SEGA Mobile are giving away some free Mobile Phone Wallpapers to completers of the Maximum Attack challenge. Maybe not the greatest prize on offer... but definately better then a kick in the teeth! 
SEGA Mobile are also giving away special Mobile Phone Straps (Although it can also be used for anything else you want to be MAGnificied! - Pun intended!). These straps can simply just be clipped on... or be magnetically attached, and also comes with a free MAG keychain with various different MAGs to choose from! Of course as pictured, you can either have an original Blue Burst strap, or an Episode IV strap (And corresponding Episode IV MAG to go with it!). Those who complete the Maximum Attack challenge in the Login Cup will have the chance to win one of various luxurious prizes. The prizes are to be either 1 years subscription to Japanese Login Magazine, a Digital Video Camera, or a top of the range 6-Speed Bicycle! 
Of course, the Login Cup is only open to those who own the Japanese version of Phantasy Star Online, Blue Burst (Episode IV Expansion not neccessary), and live in Japan able to recieve these fabulous prizes! The quest see's you take on a new and improved V.R. Field set in Episode II many stages. The Governor-General has asked you to test this V.R. Simulation, in which completion earns you a special reward for participating in the test.  
During the quest you will be forced to defeat many monsters, some in stupidly small rooms, and some in stupidly high quantities! But as they say, the more the merrier, as for every monster you kill, the more points you recieve at the end of the quest! At the end of the quest, you will recieve a rank based on how many monsters you've slayed within the time limit and how far you got. The quest lasts for 30 Minutes, and if you manage to get to the end zone before the time ends, you'll earn a points bonus and recieve many many more points then usual - a handy tip to get you started on your way to 1 Million points in total.  
Of course, its pratically impossible to earn 1 Million points in just one run, so you'll have to play this quest a fair few times before you get your magic million. Here's some very handy tips you might be interested in when playing through Maximum Attack, Version 2: - Get through the rooms as fast as possible so you can reach the end zone and earn a higher rank for the result earning you many more points. Dont fanny around picking up items and smashing boxes if you can help it.
- Another way to get through the quest as fast as possible, giving you a higher chance to reach the end zone, is to play with as many people as you can. This quest is playable for between 1 - 4 Human players so grab 3 friends and run like the wind!
- Equip weapons with great Hit % to ensure you can hit as many enemies at the same time as a fair few rooms will most likely become crowded very quickly! Also make sure FO's have effective spells for the type of enemies you'll be facing.
- Make sure you buy all fluids, mates, antidotes, etc. before you go down, because although its possible to telepipe back to Pioneer 2, you dont want to waste valuable time.

Also being added to the Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst servers alongside Maximum Attack for the Login Cup is another quest entitled 'If you Sing, at the Seashore'. 
This quest supports to Maximum Attack quest and Login Cup, so make sure you give it the time you can beforehand to get yourself a helping hand. 
Unfortunately i cant tell you much more about this quest at this time, as it isnt heavily featured on in Sonic Teams report, but it looks mainly like an added extra... or maybe a place to recieve your rewards? Blue Burst Login Cup Details - Additional... |

By completing the Login Cup, you will also recieve special ranks for yourself and clan (If applicable), with many more extra's to come, retrievable after completion of course! Unfortunately this is a Japanese only event which will not see a release when Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst is released in America/European shores.
